Presenting: A New Ranking System at Bluebell Reviews!
Dear Readers,
As my blog has expanded and more reviews are being added, I decided to add a restaurant ranking system to help tell readers how good a restaurant is. The new review system is based on how close you should be to a restaurant to visit it.
Here’s an example:
Joe’s Restaurant: worth visiting in a 30-mile radius
I recommend Joe’s Restaurant is you are within 30 miles of it; otherwise, it is not worth the trip.
I have also color-coded the system to make it easier to understand, and for people who are used to seeing star ratings, I added how the miles compare with stars in this guide. Here is a comprehensive list of the rankings in my system:
Red: Equivalent to a one-star restaurant. Don’t bother eating here.
Orange: Equivalent to a two-star restaurant. This restaurant might be considered fine for its neighborhood or small town, but it is not worth going out of your way for a trip here.
Yellow: Equivalent to a three-star restaurant. This restaurant has some dishes that really impress, but still has a ways to go to become great.
Light green: Equivalent to a four-star restaurant. This restaurant is good in just about everything it does and is one of the best in its region.
Green: This is a five-star restaurant! It is one of my personal favorites and a must-visit spot for anyone remotely near it!
Keep in mind that a restaurant in a big city might be rated lower than a restaurant in a small town, even though my review of it gives the impression that it would be better. In a city there is more competition for good food so you won’t have to travel as far to find it.
The new restaurant ranking method has now been added to all of our reviews. If you have questions or suggestions to improve this system, you can contact me through the contact page on my website or at bluebellreviews@gmail.com. I hope you enjoy this system!
